This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data Kayora collects when you use this website or send us an enquiry, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
Kayora ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at any time at hello@kayora.co or on WhatsApp at +351 913 747 213.
What data we collect
When you fill in our enquiry form, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the location of your home, how often you are away, when you would like to start, a short description of your home, and how you heard about us. We do not collect payment data on this website, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Why we collect it and our legal basis
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, to discuss looking after or renting your home, and — if you become a client — to prepare and manage our agreement with you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before entering a contract, and performance of a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in replying to messages you send us).
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client — in that case we keep what is needed for the duration of our agreement and any legal retention periods. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Your rights below).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing. Your enquiry is stored securely within our website platform and delivered to us by email. We only involve trusted service providers (such as website hosting and email delivery) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements, and only within the EU/EEA or under appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: — Access the personal data we hold about you — Correct inaccurate data — Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") — Restrict or object to processing — Data portability — Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent To exercise any of these rights, email hello@kayora.co. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Portugal this is the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados).
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date above. We encourage you to check back from time to time.
